Class A Occupational Health and Safety expert Celal YILMAZ delivered 'Occupational Health and safety” training to the students of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department. In his training session, Mr. Yılmaz emphasized the dangers and risks in the kitchen and the suitability of ergonomic conditions. Assoc. Prof. Semra AKTAŞ-POLAT, head of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department, and Asst. Prof. Serkan POLAT also attended the training, which ended with an examination. In April, our students will also be provided with first-aid training by the Red Crescent Society, which is vital for their professional and daily lives. Thus, student trainings in Workplace Safety and health that enable our students to work in a safe environment and to be prepared for any unexpected and unwanted situation they may encounter will be completed.
