Our Gastronomy Club hosted both instructive and entertaining live broadcasts with the leading names of the sector during distance education days. Mustafa Acarçiçek, owner of the Youtube “MeatyCheesy” channel, was the guest of the first of the broadcasts made on the Official Instagram Account of the Gastronomy Club (@ imügastro). The live program received great interest and focused on ideal degrees for cooking meat, differences of red and white meat, and which parts of the meat should be used for which dishes.
The second broadcast was made with the participation of Dear Gürsel Akay. Akay, who has been working on ketogenic nutrition and sports nutrition for a long time, shared his vast knowledge with our students and all participants.
Frankie Restaurant Head Chef Melih Demirel was the guest of the third and last broadcast. Referring to the issues of what might be encountered in the sector and what paths should be followed, Demirel also shared his vast experience about opening a food and beverage business and what needs to be done in this process with the participants.
